I wanted to create a face-to-face community for people pursuing careers as actuaries, students looking for information, and established professionals looking to offer guidance and advice. This can be a great way to discuss networking, form study groups for the actuary exams, and hopefully get practicing actuaries or companies to occasionally address our group. I would especially encourage non-traditional actuary enthusiasts (career changers) like myself to join up!
